Beyond the Classroom: Zachary

Last Saturday, Zachary went to the Pokemon State Championships in Des Plaines. He got to watch the participants battle with their Pokemon cards to see who would be the Illinois State Champion! He also got to enter raffles, play games and buy and trade pokemon cards. The pictures of the cards are the special new ones that he got there!

Voyage on the Mayflower

Yesterday we learned all about the Pilgrims voyage to America in 1620. We took a virtual field trip of the Mayflower ship and played a board game that followed their route across the Atlantic.

WANTED: Sticks

Next week, we will begin researching different Native American tribes. Eventually, we will be assembling Native American booklets with small sticks as the binding. The perfect stick is about the same size as a pencil. Please keep an eye out for sticks this week and bring in as many as you can find!

Thank You!!
